Dr. Eaglefeather graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and came to practice here in Plattsburgh, NY. In 1998, he started Eagle’s Nest Veterinary Hospital with business partner Dr. Rebecca King and after a short time in Dannemora, NY, ENVH opened in Plattsburgh and has been in the same location for over 20 years.
In 2011, Dr. E completed the certification courses in Canine Rehabilitation Services offered at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and has been offering those services at our Plattsburgh location since. He is also certified in Penn Hip evaluation. In 2016, Dr. E and Dr. King opened Eagle’s Nest North as a second location offering mostly wellness services and convenience for our more distant clients.
In his time off, he likes to spend his time at home on a small hobby farm or out riding his motorcycle. He has ridden in more than 30 states and 2 countries. He most enjoys the time spent with his wife Peggy and four-legged critters Wakan Tonka, Meiko, and Panesi.

Sierra grew up in Lewis, NY and she graduated from SUNY Canton in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. Sierra started at Eagle’s Nest and has worked here since 2016. She enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, exercising, spending time outdoors especially camping and relaxing by bonfires. She currently has two cats, Cloud and Kai.
Peggy is a retired school teacher; she taught 5th graders for 22 years at Oak Street elementary school. She has two dogs, Wakan Tonka and Meiko and one black cat, Panesi. Black cats have a special place in Peggy’s heart.
Kat has been at Eagle’s Nest since 2006 with the last five being part-time so she can take care of her dad. She’s been married for 21 years with four grown kids and a grandson.
Kat is certain that she was born with love for animals. She grew up with cats and right now, she has four dogs, 12 cats, and a kitten! They all bring her joy!

Emily has been a receptionist here at Eagle’s Nest since 2008. She grew up in Fine, NY and attended SUNY Plattsburgh for graphic design before ending up at our hospital.
Emily enjoys art and gardening and is currently working on building an off-grid cabin in the woods. Emily shares her life with her partner, John, and her two cats Linda and Ruby.

Hilary joined Eagle’s Nest Veterinary Hospital over 10 years ago as an assistant. She later became a receptionist and was promoted to office manager in February 2022.
She enjoys playing video games, crafting and spending time with her cat, Nux.
